A Service NSW employee is in a critical but stable condition after being stabbed in Sydney this morning.
About 9.20 on Friday, emergency services were called to Rawson Place in Haymarket following reports of a stabbing.

Police were told a 55-year-old man was stabbed in the lower back, chest and shoulder.
First aid was given by police before NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and treated him.
The man was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
A 32-year-old man has been arrested and taken to Day Street Police Station.
There is no ongoing risk to the public.
