Michael Voss faces a major question in the second half – do the Blues adjust a game plan that is not working?
The Blues began the night backing their ability to win contested possession and kick long down the line to Harry McKay and Charlie Curnow, and then win a stoppage if that was required.
The Blues led contested possessions at half-time. However, there was little room for the twin towers to operate in, while the creative Bulldogs dominated uncontested possession, and held the Blues to their lowest half-time score in the Michael Voss era.
The Blues need to show more dash, otherwise the boos of supporters will become more pronounced.
